Start with how you cook
A good outdoor kitchen puts the grill, prep space and serving space in a line, close to the back door and away from where smoke will blow into the house. We start with how you cook and entertain, then size the island and choose appliances.
Built to handle Georgia weather
Outdoor kitchens here face summer storms, humidity and the odd hard freeze. We build islands on a concrete footing or reinforced patio base, use block or masonry frames rather than wood, and choose counters such as granite that handle sun and rain. Stainless appliances and doors rated for outdoor use hold up best.
Utilities, planned early
Gas, electric and water lines are much easier and cheaper to run before the patio goes in. We coordinate licensed trades for each connection and plan conduit and sleeves under the patio so nothing has to be torn up later.
